What are the mandatory conditions for CSM certification? ▾
There is only one essential, non-negotiable requirement: you must complete a 16-hour live course led by an accredited Certified Scrum Trainer (CST?). Our program fully satisfies this requirement. There are no stipulations regarding prior experience or academic degrees.
What is the fee for the CSM examination? ▾
The examination cost is fully covered. Your course fee includes the first two attempts at the CSM exam, so there are no additional or unexpected charges for the test itself.
How many questions are in the CSM exam and what is the required passing score? ▾
It consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and you are allotted 60 minutes to complete the test. To successfully pass, you must correctly answer 37 out of 50 questions, which corresponds to a passing score of 74%. Our comprehensive course is specifically designed to make achieving this score highly feasible.
Which organization grants the CSM certification? ▾
The certification is awarded by the Scrum Alliance?, which is the world's most established and largest professional membership and credentialing body for all Agile practitioners.
Is it possible to simply self-study and take the exam without the course? ▾
No. The Scrum Alliance strictly requires the completion of the 16-hour live course with a Certified Scrum Trainer as a mandatory prerequisite. The true value lies in the interactive, guided learning, not just in testing knowledge.
What procedure is followed if I do not pass the CSM exam? ▾
Your first attempt is included in the course fee. Should you not pass, your second attempt, provided it's taken within the 90-day window, is also free of charge. Given our program's 99% pass rate, this situation is rare for our students.
What is the validity period for my CSM certification and how do I complete the renewal process? ▾
Your certification is valid for a period of two years. To renew it, you are required to pay a renewal fee of $100 and submit evidence that you have earned 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) over those two years.
What is the key distinction between CSM and PSM (Professional Scrum Master)? ▾
The CSM (from Scrum Alliance) mandates attending a two-day course with a CST, emphasizing guided, interactive learning. The PSM (from Scrum.org) does not require a course; you can choose to take the exam directly. Employers often prefer CSM candidates due to their formal training and mentorship from an accredited expert.
Where exactly do I take the examination? ▾
The examination is an online, open-book test. After successfully completing the course, you will receive an email containing a link from the Scrum Alliance, allowing you to create your account and commence the test at your convenience.
How soon must I complete the exam after concluding the training? ▾
You have a maximum of 90 days from the final day of the course to attempt the exam for the first time. Our strong recommendation is to take the exam within one week while the course material is still completely fresh in your mind.
Is the Scrum Alliance membership covered by the course fee? ▾
Yes, it is. Upon the successful passing of your exam, you are automatically granted a two-year membership with the Scrum Alliance, which gives you immediate access to their global network, comprehensive resources, and events.
What is the definition of Scrum Education Units (SEUs)? ▾
SEUs are points accumulated through activities that expand your knowledge of Scrum, such as reading relevant books, participating in webinars, or volunteering. Typically, one hour of such activity equates to one SEU. You must earn 20 SEUs every two years to successfully renew your CSM.
Does this course focus on Agile concepts broadly, or is it exclusively about Scrum? ▾
The course is firmly rooted in the Agile Manifesto and its core principles. While the main focus is an in-depth exploration of the Scrum framework, we thoroughly cover the fundamental Agile mindset that is essential for Scrum to operate effectively.
Can an individual without a technical background excel as a Scrum Master? ▾

How long does the training take to complete?

We offer two primary modalities: Instructor-Led Live Online via Zoom for remote participants, and in-person Classroom Training in major cities in Columbus, OH.
Are the classes live or just pre-recorded videos?

Our workshops are 100% live and interactive. This is a mandatory requirement from the Scrum Alliance. You will be engaging directly with a CST and your peers in real-time.
What if a work commitment forces me to miss part of the workshop? ▾
To be eligible for Certified ScrumMaster certification, you must attend the full 16 hours. In case of emergencies, we help you reschedule and complete your certified scrum master course in a future batch at no extra cost.
How flexible is the program if my schedule changes? ▾
Very flexible. You can reschedule to any other confirmed batch up to 7 days before your workshop start date without any penalty. This ensures you don?t miss your chance to earn your scrum master certification.
Who are the instructors? ▾
Our instructors are official Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs). This is an elite group of vetted experts who have demonstrated deep knowledge and exceptional teaching skills.
What are the class sizes like?

Is there a difference between the weekday and weekend batches?

For the live online class, you just need a computer with a webcam, a microphone, and a stable internet connection capable of running Zoom and a web browser for our online collaboration tools.
