I just started my application for the CAPM and I'm feeling overwhelmed by the amount of material. Between the PMBOK Guide, various online courses, and practice exams, what should I prioritize to ensure I pass on my first try? I have about six weeks to study before my scheduled date.

Focus heavily on the Exam Content Outline (ECO) provided by PMI. For my prep, I used a combination of an intensive 23-hour contact hour course and dedicated practice simulators. The simulators are key because they mimic the actual pressure of the 150-question exam. Make sure you don't just memorize the 49 processes; instead, understand the flow of data and how different project documents interact. I spent about 2 hours a day for five weeks and felt very confident. The new agile section is about 15% of the exam, so do not ignore the Agile Practice Guide either!
Are you planning to take the exam at a testing center or via the online proctored option? I've heard some people have issues with the software during the online version.
Consistency is everything. I highly recommend using flashcards for the formulas and the ITTOs, even though the new exam is more situational than the previous version.
Matthew is spot on. I used a mobile app for flashcards during my commute, and it really helped reinforce the terminology so I didn't get tripped up by the wording on the test.
Jessica, I took mine online and as long as your internet is stable and your desk is completely clear, it's very convenient. Just run the system test a day before to ensure your webcam and microphone are compatible with the Pearson VUE software to avoid any last-minute stress on your big exam day.
