The question

We are seeing a dip in participation lately. How do we keep members consistently active within our Project Management office circles without it feeling like an extra chore for the busy leads?

To maintain momentum, you should implement a "Knowledge Sprint" where senior leads share one-minute tactical tips. People often disengage because the content is too theoretical. By focusing on real-world blockers like resource allocation or stakeholder management, you create immediate value. We started a "Friday Failures" thread where leaders share a mistake and the lesson learned; it humanized the experts and made juniors feel safe to post. Consistency comes from value, not just notifications. Ensure you are gamifying the experience with badges that actually carry weight during annual reviews.

Have you considered if the platform UI itself is the barrier? Sometimes people want to contribute but find the navigation too clunky to use during a busy workday.

That is a valid point, Brandon. We checked the analytics and mobile access is where we lose most people. Improving the interface and adding a "Quick Reply" feature via email integration could significantly lower the barrier to entry for our mobile project managers on site.

I found that tagging specific people to answer questions they are experts in works best. It makes them feel valued and ensures the question gets a high-quality response quickly.

I totally agree with Tyler. Direct tagging creates a sense of accountability and recognition that generic posts simply cannot match in a professional environment.
