How can I properly record my general and agile project experience? ▾
Your experience must be expressed using PMI's agile terminology and show practical exposure to multiple frameworks, including adaptive planning, iterative delivery, stakeholder engagement, team facilitation, and continuous improvement. Our program provides full application review to ensure proper documentation.
If I already have the PMI-ACP certification, does it help with other PMI credentials? ▾
Having PMI-ACP does not exempt you from prerequisites for certifications like PMP or PgMP. Each certification has its own requirements. However, agile project hours may contribute to PMP's general project experience if they involved leading and directing work.
What is the cost of the PMI-ACP exam? ▾
The exam costs $435 for non-members and $335 for PMI members. PMI membership costs $139, which offers immediate savings on the exam and additional benefits, making membership highly recommended.
How long is the PMI-ACP exam and how many questions does it contain? ▾
The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 180 minutes. That gives roughly 90 seconds per question. Our simulators replicate the full exam to help build speed and accuracy across all agile domains.
Is the PMI-ACP exam available online, or do I need to go to a testing center? ▾
Online proctored exams are available but require strict environment compliance. Pearson VUE testing centers are recommended to avoid technical interruptions like power or connectivity issues.
Am I allowed to use a calculator during the PMI-ACP exam? ▾
Only the built-in on-screen calculator is permitted. The exam emphasizes scenario-based decision-making rather than numerical computation.
When is the best time to schedule my PMI-ACP exam after application approval? ▾
You can schedule immediately after approval. PMI allows a one-year window and up to three attempts. Scheduling 2-3 weeks after training is ideal to keep knowledge fresh.
What score is required to pass the PMI-ACP exam? ▾
PMI does not provide a fixed passing score. Aiming for roughly 70% across all domains is advised. The exam result is pass/fail only.
What happens if I don't pass the PMI-ACP exam on the first try? ▾

How long does the PMI-ACP certification remain valid? ▾
The certification is valid for three years. To maintain it, you must earn 30 Professional Development Units (PDUs) within that period.
Is PMI membership required for maintaining PMI-ACP? ▾

How long does the training take to complete? ▾
Our PMI-ACP training course is built around a 4-week study plan tailored for working professionals. You can choose from weekend-only, weekday evening, or intensive 4-day bootcamp schedules. Our sessions are live and fully interactive. This is not a passive video course where someone reads slides at you.
