What are the requirements for PMP certification?

The first step towards your PMP certification should begin by studying the Project Management Professional® Credential Handbook in detail. It is strongly recommended that you visit the PMI.org to read relevant information presented on the site about PMP Certification.

The Process of PMP Exam Application:

Become a member by registering with PMI.org
- Become a member by registering with PMI.org
  - The membership brings its own benefits. To become a member, you need to pay It costs $139 to become a member.
  - For PMI members, the examination cost is $405.00. The privileges for a member include access of PMBOK® Guide (e-book).
  - For a non-member, the examination cost is $555.
You need to fulfill PMP’s criteria of 35 hours PDUs (professional development units) as part of the PMP exam requirement.

You need to schedule your exam with Prometric sites near to you.
Take the PMP Exam
- It’s a 200 question exam with a 4-hour duration.
- The outcome of the exam will be disclosed immediately after the submission of the answer sheet. It will be a pass or fail. There will be no score or percentages of the right response.
- You can take the PMP exam thrice in a year.
