They assess the quality, complexity, and strategic nature of your program management work against the PgMP performance domains. How do I document my program management experience? ▾

You must write detailed summaries for every program you list, clearly describing your specific role and actions across the five PgMP performance domains. PMI does not disclose an exact passing percentage. Can I take the PgMP exam online from home? ▾

Yes. The exam is administered by Pearson VUE and can be taken either at a physical test center or online via the OnVUE platform. Many candidates still prefer a physical test center for a fully controlled environment.

What happens if I fail the PgMP exam? ▾

You have a one-year eligibility period after application approval, during which you may attempt the exam up to three times. Each reattempt requires payment of a re-examination fee.
