There's only one mandatory requirement: you must attend a live 16-hour course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). Our program fulfills this requirement completely. There are no degree or experience prerequisites.
How much does the CSM exam cost? ▾
The exam cost is included. Your course fee with iCertGlobal covers your first two attempts at the CSM exam - no hidden charges or extra fees.
How many questions are on the CSM exam and what is the passing score? ▾
The exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and you get 60 minutes to complete it. You need at least 37 correct answers (74%) to pass. Our training is designed to make this very achievable.
Who provides the CSM certification? ▾
The certification is awarded by the Scrum Alliance, the world's largest and most recognized professional body for Agile practitioners.
Can I just study on my own and take the CSM exam? ▾
No. The Scrum Alliance mandates attendance in a 16-hour live course with a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). The certification is built around interactive learning, not self-study alone.
What happens if I fail the CSM exam? ▾
Your first attempt is included. If you don't pass, a second attempt within 90 days is also free. Our 99% pass rate means this is rarely an issue for our students.
How long is my CSM certification valid and how do I renew? ▾
Your CSM credential is valid for two years. To renew, you'll need to pay a $100 renewal fee and submit proof of earning 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) within that period.
What's the difference between CSM and PSM (Professional Scrum Master)? ▾
CSM (from Scrum Alliance) requires a mandatory 2-day course with a CST and emphasizes hands-on, instructor-led learning. PSM (from Scrum.org) allows you to take the exam without training. Employers often prefer CSM because it ensures formal mentorship and interactive practice.
Where do I take the CSM exam? ▾
It's an online, open-book exam. After completing your course, you'll receive an email from the Scrum Alliance with a link to create your account and take the test at your convenience.
How soon after the course do I need to take the exam? ▾
You have 90 days from completing the course to attempt the exam. We recommend taking it within the first week while the material is still fresh.
Is the Scrum Alliance membership included in the course fee? ▾

How long does the training take to complete?

The program is a 16-hour intensive workshop, typically conducted over two full consecutive days (e.g., a Saturday and Sunday, or two weekdays).
What are the different training formats available? ▾
We offer two primary modalities: Instructor-Led Live Online via Zoom for remote participants, and in-person Classroom Training in major cities in Coral Springs, FL.
Are the classes live or just pre-recorded videos?

Our workshops are 100% live and interactive. This is a mandatory requirement from the Scrum Alliance. You will be engaging directly with a CST and your peers in real-time.
What if a work commitment forces me to miss part of the workshop? ▾
To be eligible for Certified ScrumMaster certification, you must attend the full 16 hours. In case of emergencies, we help you reschedule and complete your certified scrum master course in a future batch at no extra cost.
