Eligibility and Pre-requisites
The A-CSM® certification is designed for Scrum Masters who are ready to build on their existing Scrum knowledge and take on more advanced Agile leadership responsibilities. Before earning the certification, you'll need to meet a few key requirements set by Scrum Alliance.
CSM® Certification: Hold a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance (active or expired).
Experience Requirement: Have at least 12 months of Scrum Master experience gained within the last five years.
Training Requirement: Complete a Scrum Alliance-approved A-CSM® training program.
Scrum Alliance Profile: Create or update your Scrum Alliance profile and accept the A-CSM® license agreement.
Continuous Learning: Commit to renewing your certification every two years through Scrum Education Units (SEUs).
