Do I need to be a software developer to understand CMMI-DEV? ▾
No. You need to understand the process of development, not how to write code. Project managers, QA managers, and process leads are often the key drivers of CMMI implementation.
Is CMMI still relevant in an Agile world? ▾
Yes, absolutely. This is a common misconception. CMMI tells you what to do (e.g., manage requirements, plan your work), not how to do it. You can absolutely satisfy CMMI practices using Agile methods like Scrum and Kanban.
What is the official CMMI Associate exam like? ▾
It is a proctored, online, multiple-choice exam. You must pass it to earn the "Certified CMMI Associate" credential and be listed in the official CMMI Institute directory. Our course is specifically designed to prepare you for it.
How much does the CMMI Associate exam cost? ▾
