How long does the training take to complete? ▾

The live training program consists of 24 hours of instruction, typically delivered over 3 full days in a bootcamp format or spread across 4 weeks in a weekend-batch schedule.

What are the different training formats available? ▾

We offer three modalities: E-Learning (self-paced), Instructor-Led Live Class (online), and Classroom Training (in-person in cities in Sherbrooke, QC).

Do I need a background in statistics to take this course? ▾

No. A basic understanding is helpful, but the course is designed to be practical. We teach you the statistical concepts you need from the ground up, focusing on application, not abstract theory.

What if I miss a scheduled class in the live training? ▾

Every live session is recorded and made available within 24 hours. You will never fall behind and can review the material as many times as you need.

How "hands-on" is the training? ▾

Extremely. You will spend at least 70% of the class time with Minitab open, working on real datasets and following along with the instructor in practical lab exercises. This is a "learn-by-doing" program.

Who are the instructors? ▾

Our instructors are practicing Master Black Belts with over a decade of experience using Minitab to lead improvement projects in major Sherbrooke, QC and multinational companies.

What are the class sizes? ▾

We keep our batches small, typically under 20 participants, to ensure every student gets personalized attention and has their questions answered promptly.

Will this training work on a Mac? ▾

Minitab Statistical Software is primarily designed for Windows. While it can be run on a Mac using Parallels or Bootcamp, we recommend using a Windows PC for the best experience.

Do I need any special software other than Minitab? ▾

No. All you need is a working computer, a stable internet connection for online classes, and the Minitab software itself.

Is this training relevant for my industry (e.g., IT, Finance)? ▾

Absolutely. While many examples come from manufacturing, the statistical tools and principles are universal. We include case studies and datasets from service, IT, and financial sectors to demonstrate its broad applicability.

Is this an official certification from Minitab, LLC? ▾

No. This is a professional proficiency certification from iCert Global. It validates your practical skill in using the Minitab software, as taught by industry-leading Master Black Belts. Minitab, LLC does not offer a public certification program of this kind.
