I design fault-tolerant distributed networks and high-throughput cloud infrastructure. I am intensely interested in memory safety, asynchronous execution models, and low-level runtime optimization. Outside of office hours, I spend my time playing classical guitar, brewing specialty coffee, and hiking alpine trails.
