I have my CISSP already and I am considering adding CISM to my resume. Everyone says CISM is easier, but I want to be sure I don't underestimate it. Is it just a matter of memorization, or is it more about the management-level mindset? I am looking for honest feedback from people who have taken both.
The CISM exam is less technically comprehensive than the CISSP and focuses primarily on information security governance, risk management, and compliance from a management perspective.

CISM is significantly narrower in scope than CISSP, focusing exclusively on governance and risk management rather than technical depth. If you have already internalized the CISSP material, the CISM will feel like a specialized, management-oriented subset of that broader body of knowledge.
