There is just too much terminology in the CISSP. I have started using Anki for flashcards, but I feel like I am just memorizing terms without understanding the context. Is there a better way to use flashcards, or should I stop using them entirely for this exam?
Effective CISSP preparation requires prioritizing the understanding of security concepts and their application to managerial decision-making over the rote memorization of individual technical terms.

Stop grinding flashcards like you are prepping for a high school history quiz because the CISSP is a managerial exam, not a trivia contest.
You are failing because you are focusing on the what instead of the why, and no amount of rote memorization will help you when the questions force you to choose the least-worst option in a crisis scenario.
