is there a future for human-only creative work

The question

I am a professional illustrator and I am really worried. With the rise of image-gen tools, what is the role of the human artist now? Do you think the market for 100 percent human-made work will survive, or will it become a niche luxury? I am trying to decide if I should lean into AI tools or double down on my human craft. I would love to hear from other artists who have made this choice.
