I am planning our next hardware refresh and we currently have a mix of B-Series blades and some standalone C-Series units. Is it possible to manage both under the same UCS Manager domain? I know there are some limitations regarding connectivity via the Fabric Interconnects, but I want to make sure I am not going to run into a management nightmare before I start the migration project.
B-Series blades and C-Series rack servers can be managed within a single UCS Manager domain by physically connecting the C-Series units to the Fabric Interconnects and performing a discovery process.

Yes, you can manage both B-Series blades and C-Series servers within a single UCS Manager domain through a process known as integration. This requires physically connecting your C-Series rack servers directly to your Fabric Interconnects, effectively turning them into managed endpoints.
You must ensure your firmware versions align across both form factors to maintain compatibility, as the Fabric Interconnects will enforce unified policies for all connected hardware.
