Once you have Guardrails AI running, how do you track its performance? I want to see how many times my validators are being triggered and what the common failure points are. Are there built-in logging features, or do I need to pipe the "guard" results into something like LangSmith or an ELK stack? I need to justify the extra latency to my stakeholders.

Monitoring is crucial for "closing the loop." The framework provides a detailed trace of each guard execution, showing exactly which validator failed and why. You can easily export these logs to LangSmith or any OpenTelemetry-compliant collector. We use this data to identify where our base model is struggling; for instance, if the "competitor-check" is constantly failing, we know we need to update our system prompt.
