The only requirement for earning your Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is completing a live, 16-hour course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). You don't need any prior degree or professional experience - just a willingness to learn Agile product management.
Is there an exam for the CSPO certification? â–¾
No. This is a critical point. The CSPO certification does not have a formal exam. Your certification is awarded based on your active participation and demonstrated understanding during the 2-day workshop, as assessed by your CST.
How do I get certified if there's no test? â–¾
By fully attending the 16-hour workshop and actively participating in all exercises, discussions, and simulations. The CST is trained to assess your grasp of the PO role through this engagement. Upon successful completion, the CST will recommend you to the Scrum Alliance for certification.

What if I can't attend the full 16 hours? â–¾
Full attendance is mandatory to qualify for your Certified Scrum Product Owner certification. However, if an emergency prevents you from completing the class, we?ll help you reschedule to a future batch at no extra cost, ensuring you meet all the certification requirements.
How flexible is the program if my schedule changes? â–¾
You can reschedule to any other confirmed workshop date without penalty, provided you give us at least 7 days' notice.
