How long does the Lean Management training take to complete? ▾

Our comprehensive Lean Management course consists of 80+ hours delivered over 8-10 weeks depending on the format. Weekend batches meet 8 hours on Saturdays, weekday evening batches meet 3 hours twice weekly, and intensive bootcamps condense training into 10 full days. All formats cover identical content, ensuring complete preparation for your Lean management certification while accommodating working professionals' schedules.

What are the different training formats available? ▾

We offer three modalities: E-Learning for self-paced study with video content and downloadable templates; Instructor-Led Live Classes for interactive online learning with certified Lean practitioners; and Classroom Training for immersive, in-person bootcamps in Victoria, BC including actual facility gemba walks.

Are the classes live or just pre-recorded videos? ▾

Our Instructor-Led and Classroom formats are live and fully interactive with real-time value stream mapping exercises, tool application practice, and Q&A. E-Learning uses high-quality recorded content but includes scheduled office hours with instructors. This isn't passive video consumption?you're actively mapping processes and applying tools throughout.

What if work emergencies force me to miss a scheduled class? ▾

You won't fall behind. All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours with chapter indexing. You can attend the same session in any other running batch at no extra cost. This ensures your Lean Management certification progress continues without disruption.

How flexible is the program if my schedule changes mid-training? ▾

The program is fully flexible. You can switch between batches or formats at any time without penalty. All materials and access carry forward seamlessly, making it perfect for busy professionals pursuing Lean management certification online.

Who are the instructors teaching this program? ▾

What are the class sizes for live training? ▾

We intentionally cap batches at 15-20 participants to ensure hands-on practice during value stream mapping exercises and personalized feedback on your improvement project. Small cohorts allow instructors to address your specific operational challenges and ensure everyone gets gemba walk participation during facility visits.

Is there a difference between the weekend and weekday evening batches? ▾

No. The curriculum, instructor quality, hands-on exercises, and facility visits are identical. The only difference is pacing?weekend batches progress faster (8 weeks) while weekday evening batches spread the same content over 10-12 weeks to accommodate work schedules and allow time for between-session practice.

Do I need any special software or tools for this training? ▾

No specialized software is required. Lean tools are low-tech?paper, pencils, stopwatches, and cameras for documentation. Templates are provided in Excel and PowerPoint. Online learners only need a stable internet connection, webcam, and headset to access the Lean Management course materials.

Is this training valid for candidates outside Victoria, BC? ▾

Absolutely. Our Instructor-Led Live Classes and E-Learning programs are accessible from anywhere in Victoria, BC or globally. Lean principles are universal?manufacturing in Mumbai or Coimbatore faces the same waste and flow challenges. Classroom training with facility visits is currently offered in those three metros but expanding based on demand.
