They assess the quality, complexity, and strategic nature of your program management work against the PgMP performance domains. How do I document my program management experience? ▾

You must write detailed summaries for every program you list, clearly describing your specific role and actions across the five PgMP performance domains. You need to articulate how you managed program strategy, business benefits, stakeholders, governance, and the complete program life cycle. What is the passing score for the PgMP exam? ▾

PMI does not disclose an exact passing percentage. The exam uses a psychometric scoring approach, rating your performance across domains as "Above Target," "Target," "Below Target," or "Needs Improvement." Can I take the PgMP exam online from home? ▾

Yes. The exam is administered by Pearson VUE and can be taken either at a physical test center or online via the OnVUE platform. What happens if I fail the PgMP exam? ▾
