Your certification is valid for one year. SAFe is an evolving framework, and this annual renewal ensures that certified professionals stay current with the latest practices.

How do I renew my certification? ▾

Renewal is straightforward. You must pay an annual renewal fee (typically $100) directly to Scaled Agile. There is no exam required to renew this certification, but you must be a member of the SAFe Community Platform.

What is an Agile Release Train (ART)? ▾

The ART is the core of SAFe. It's a long-lived, virtual "team of teams" (typically 50-125 people) that includes all the roles and resources needed to build and deliver solutions. It's organized around a value stream and operates on a fixed cadence called a Program Increment (PI).

What is PI Planning? ▾

PI Planning is the most critical event in SAFe. It's an intensive 2-day event where all teams on the ART come together to plan the next 8-12 weeks of work (the Program Increment). This SAFe Agilist course includes a full simulation of this event.

How is SAFe different from Scrum? ▾

Scrum is a framework for a single team (5-11 people). SAFe is a framework for an enterprise (dozens or hundreds of teams). SAFe uses Scrum at the team level but adds the necessary roles, events, and artifacts (like ARTs, PI Planning, and Lean Portfolio Management) to coordinate those teams and align them with the business strategy.

Is this SAFe Agilist training course right for me if I'm a PMP? ▾

Absolutely. Many organizations moving to SAFe are looking for their PMPs and Project Managers to step into new strategic roles like Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Product Manager. This certification is the bridge from traditional project management to enterprise-agile leadership.

How long does the training take to complete? ▾

The live training is a 16-hour, intensive program. We offer it in two primary formats: a 2-day weekend bootcamp (8 hours/day) or a 4-day weekday-evening batch (4 hours/day).

What are the different training formats available? ▾

We offer three modalities: E-Learning (self-paced), Instructor-Led Live Class (our most popular online option), and Classroom Training (an in-person, immersive experience in cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi).

Are the classes live or just pre-recorded videos? ▾

Our sessions are 100% live and fully interactive. This is not a passive video course. You will engage in real-time discussions, breakout sessions for PI Planning, and live Q&A with your SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).

What if a work commitment forces me to miss a scheduled class? ▾

You won't fall behind. Every session is recorded and available within 24 hours. You also have the flexibility to attend the same session in any other running batch at no extra cost.

How flexible is the program if my schedule changes? ▾

Completely flexible. You can switch between different batches (e.g., from weekends to weekdays) or formats (online to in-person) at any time during your program without penalty.

Who are the instructors? ▾

Our instructors are Scaled Agile-vetted, practicing SPCs. You learn from professionals who are actively leading SAFe transformations in major Indian and global companies, not just trainers who only teach.

What are the class sizes like? ▾

We maintain small batch sizes intentionally (typically 15-20 participants). This ensures every participant gets personalized attention and has ample opportunity to interact with the instructor and their peers.

Is there a difference between the weekday and weekend batches? ▾

No. The official 16-hour Scaled Agile curriculum, expert instructors, and hands-on PI Planning simulation are identical. The only difference is the schedule, designed to fit your professional life.

Do I need any special software to attend? ▾

No. All you need is a standard web browser and a stable internet connection for our live online classes. We use standard tools like Zoom and digital collaboration boards (like Miro) that are accessible to everyone.

Is this training valid for candidates outside Bangalore? ▾

Yes. Our Instructor-Led Live Classes and E-Learning programs are accessible globally. We have professionals joining from Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, and worldwide. The SAFe Agilist certification is a global standard.
